The
main aim of these publications is to inform the civil society
actors as well as general public about the activities realised by
European Perspective and achieved results, give info on
co-financing organizations/institutions that support the nominated
projects as well as to promote partnership between EP and local
NGOs that take part in realization of the same activites. Further
on, these publications offer info on the activites of local and
international non-governmental organizations active in the
territory of Serbia and Montenegro, promotion of pluralism and
democratic values and structures as well as the respect of human
rights as basic postulates of the modern democartic civil
society.
Newlsetters
serve as a meeting point for presentation of info regarding
meetings, conferences, seminars, training workshops and other
publications and informative materials relevant to the third
sector and therefore they present an appropriate way for transfer
of know-how, expertise and techniques neccesary for professional
functioning of NGOs as resource centers that have the task to
communicate with representative structures of the civil society
within their local communities, to develop cooperation with the
same ones, be open to all the interested parties in the local
communities and to be at disposal with their know-how, experience
and expertise. Newsletters promote media and their relationship
towards NGOs since media are partners and implementing mechanisms
of the project as well as local NGOs and other active institutions
of the civil society.
Eventually,
the final goal of the newsletters would be exchange of important
info and experiences regarding the status of the civil sector in
Serbia, strengthening of relationship between the actors of the
civil society, professionalization of the civil society
instituitons that contribute development of well educated and
experienced teams that could face the ongoing transition process
that the whole country passes through towards integration of
Serbia within the EU.
