PLANS
FOR NEXT MONTH
As
to the plans for next month, further project activities will
continue in January. The local partner organisations will proceed
with the implementation of their activities, whereas European
Perspective, as the Central Resource Centre, will be working
intensively on organising the first awareness meeting which
should, according to the schedule, take place
towards the end of January.
As the Central Resource Centre, European Perspective plans to
organise 8 awareness meetings and 4 two-day trainings, which will
take place in all towns of Serbia, starting from Belgrade. Both
representatives of the partner organisations and of other local
NGOs from Serbia will have the right to participate in the stated
activities of the Central Resource Centre. The primary task of awareness
meetings will be capacity building of organisations and their
actors, cooperation with institutions of the civil society and
transfer of techniques and knowledge relevant to the
organisations' management and sustainability, promotion,
protection and improvement of human rights and freedoms, promotion
of the values of democracy, initiating and supporting civic
initiatives with a view to building and developing a democratic
local community, involvement in modern transition and integration
processes, promotion of an open and tolerant society, spreading
the culture of dialogue, agreement, cooperation, peace and
non-violent problem resolution.
The activities will be implemented by experts in the field
of the civil society development, human rights and the like.
European
Perspective will, as always, coordinate and follow up the
activities with the purpose of evaluating the project’s
implementation and providing support through its knowledge and
know-how where necessary.
