Development and Education Centre EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE (D.E.C.E.P) is a Greek non-profit, non-govermental autonomous organisation, active in the field of international development cooperation. The headquarters of the organisation are in Athens. Its activities are promoted through the function of regional support offices in Serbia, FYROM, Ecuador, Zimbabwe, Moldova and Tunisia.

D.E.C.E.P. plans and implements integrated activities with objective to promote sustainable development, provide humanitarian assistance and contribute towards the establishment of democratic institutions in the target countries. More particularly D.E.C.E.P. realises:

• integrated viable development programs and projects;

• integrated activities whose aim is the integration of the less privileged social groups;

• programs for the promotion of employment and enterpreneurship;

• actions for the establishment and functioning of support structures such as Information Centres, Observatories of New Professions, Centres for the Promotion into the Labor Market, etc;

• transfer of know-how, expertise and technical skills;

• development and enviroment education and awareness programs;

• humanitarian assistance;

• research and studies on the economic, social and political context;

• vocational traininig.

D.E.C.E.P. has already implemented projects in Ex-Soviet Union (Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova), Central and Eastern Europe (Hungary, FYROM, Serbia), Latin America (Ecuador, Commonwealth of Dominica, Belize), Africa (Kenya, Zimbabwe) and Asia (India).

In the framework of its objectives and activities, D.E.C.E.P. invites all local, decentralised development actors, NGOs and unions of citizens to establish new alliances for better world.
