CDHRF expand the regional programme for strengthening capacities of the civil society

MAKOLLI: THE CIVIL SOCIETY OF KOSOVO IS STILL UN-PROFILED

23 June, Prishtine - CDHRF with the HQ in Prishtina and with regional centers in Kosovo is involved in CARDS programme for civil society capacity building in Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia. Mr. Makolli, the Secretary of CDHRF said that the abuse of the human rights would be less if the civil society would oblige the institutions to deal with the rights. Mr. Makolli also added that the aim of this programme is creation of networks in order to have more access and to influence the public and politic environment in other challenges.

According to CDHRF, this regional programme in which (besides Kosovo) Macedonia and Serbia are involved will be focused on the regional problems which are the issues of the evaporated people, IDPs, refugees, etc.

The project of CDHRF is financed by the European Commission in the total value for Kosovo - 36,000.00 Euros.

According to the Mr. Bexhet Shala, Executive Director of CDHRF, the funds will be spent on trainings, publications and different workshops that will be realized towards improvement of the civil society.
